Rising Portuguese Producer and DJ - Soru the Shinobi makes a powerful entrance into the UK garage scene with the release of his debut EP titled ‘Is it Over’. Blending moody atmospheres with stripped-back percussive grooves and his signature minimal approach, he layers haunting synth textures with vocal chops to tap into the raw emotion of late-night cityscapes that resonate with listeners searching for depth and grit. The multi-genre artist from Lisbon was also part of the label’s annual compilation ‘Bønewax Vol. 2’.
Soru describes his work as a combination of working many sleepless nights and drawing inspiration from those late hours. Looking at the bright city lights and bustles of the street. Each track gets progressively moody until you get to 'Something Good' and realise it's already morning and ask yourself: 'Is It Over?'
