Before the great celebration of Astropolis summer (Brest, France), its label DÔME, which highlights the local scene from French Brittany strikes back with a new Various EP and presents four new talents of its 2023 contest from the four corners of Brittany. This second compilation focuses on the darkness of the depths, from dark ambient to acid techno, between ritual rhythms and industrial sounds.
Namscha, from north Brittany, takes uneven paths where sounds tumble, clash, follow each other or slip away. Her Bal ancestral, dark and bizarre, blurs the border between nature and technology with sounds borrowed from both ritual music and modern tools.
The four Breton artists sign here a well-calibrated EP and explore, each in their own way, the darkest corners of techno. The final object surprises by the richness of its sound palette as much as by the harmony of its whole.
