“Playground” sounds like a collage of static electricity and pop wreckage — volume swings that pull the rug out from under you, rhythms that limp on purpose.
It's a scrapbook of a rough year, where a storm sits next to calm, resignation next to tired daydreaming, uncertainty next to the specific rage of knowing you can't rewind time. “Playground” turned into an experiment: testing methods, breaking techniques that were supposed to work, trying on styles like outfits, stalling time so they could stay students a little longer.
A playground was never just swings and laughing kids anyway — it's also where kids first figure out the shape of life, scraped knees and all. Playground plays the same game. Less "we had fun," more "we're still figuring out what the hell just happened".
