'This EP was created after I moved to Berlin. During the first months, I was constantly surrounded by new experiences, and I started documenting them consciously. I recorded field sounds on my phone: children sledding in Görlitzer Park after the February snow, a woman talking to herself on the U-Bahn, the hum of cars on the street, or simply leaving my window open for ten minutes.
These sounds are not background noise to me, they are concrete impressions of a time when everything felt new. The music grows out of these moments: slow, grey, minimal structures, few elements, lots of space. The concept explores what it feels like to step out of your previous environment and try to redefine yourself, not through roles or narratives, but through simple observation. Like starting with a blank page, letting the sounds of the world help you find your way. This EP is a document of that period.' - Mankind
