The ‘Time Splitter’ EP marks the fifth chapter of B:Thorough’s avant-garde Textured imprint, following the introspective ‘(Don’t) Luv Me’ EP released in 2023. This eagerly awaited instalment sees B:Thorough reunite with fellow Coyote Records alum, Slick, for a project bursting with originality and dynamic production.
Having connected online through Soundcloud, B:Thorough and Slick began collaborating after an encounter on East London’s Subtle Radio. The pair’s creative synergy first captured attention with their haunting track “Double Up,” released on French Tabloid’s ‘VA 001’ compilation in March 2023 alongside heavyweights Benny Ill and Blackdown.
‘Metallic’ sees the pair step out of their comfort zone to take on a faster BPM. ‘Metallic’ blends icy, spaced-out bells with nostalgic counter melodies and forceful percussion. This track’s infectious groove makes it a perfect pick for the dancefloor.
