pacific blue is about drowning then taking back your breath out of the water. Like the waves in the ocean, the 5 songs moves between softness and intensity, between hyper pop synth, ambient guitars and melancholic voices, between lullabies and pop melodies. Produced in the intimacy of 4nouki’s Brussels’ bedroom, pacific blue was born out of a sense of urgency to speak out and survive, as the need to learn to swim with the endless movement of the sea.
4nouki is the alter ego of Brussels-based producer, singer and artist Anouk Boyer Mazal. Cradled by multiple influences ranging from ambient to hyperpop, her electronic productions fuse pop vocal melodies, melancholic guitars and field recordings into a mysterious, dreamlike lands- cape. Following the release of her debut EP Fallen Angel during fall 2023, she won the 2024 Belgian contest « concours circuit » and play shows all around Belgium the next year. Her new EP pacific blue will be released on October 31st on Sal de fête, featuring five tracks between lullabies and hits pop. It will be celebrated at a show at the Fifty Lab Festival in Brussels on November 12th
