Cult Priest debuting her EP under our Ear Flux is a mark, That this girl truly sparked an occult thrills. Drawing from her recollections of motion pictures she amazed, scenes by scenes are reconstructed in disorder; we can hear lots of parts that were chosen weirdly visual but minimalistic. We can relate how she managed to produce these records like how she crafted a graphic.
This EP starts with 'Tenet' on mysterious scenery, dramatic sound palettes. Followed by eerie, tense tracks like 'Incantation' and 'Purge'. Bringing some trancy, avant-garde pop in 'Abbreviation', while 'Ante Mortem' allows more time to breathe through its long pad and syncopated rhythm. Cult Priest closes her proselytization with a modern d'n'b-infused track in 'Exile'.
