Post-rain is one of the many albums by the multi-genre and experimental musician Stepan Ovcharenko, known by the stage name "rydglek". In his latest album, he conveys a feeling familiar to everyone, yet difficult for most to describe: the feeling of an autumn walk through the city in the rain, when the dampness and the scent of yellowing leaves hit your nose, blending with the smell of wet asphalt.
The album is primarily rooted in the ambient genre, but it also includes its more rhythmic offshoot - ambient techno. The tracks feature distorted field recordings captured between September and October 2025. The overall atmosphere is shaped by ethereal, airy pads, atmospheric synths, and slightly unsettling sub-bass backgrounds.
