We're All in the News Business Now

It all used to be therefore simple. Papers, TV and the radio ran the news, and corporations used main-stream promotion along with editorial to produce business. Both editorial and promotion'worked'and there was seldom any crossover between the two.

Now main-stream press is threatened by the perceived free-for-all that the net has shipped, the'citizen journalists'competitor the TV and the papers from their back bedrooms, and promotion seems to have missing its usefulness as viewers, visitors and listeners end spending attention.

That is bad news if you are an old-fashioned press outlet or perhaps News Business a main-stream company, but great news if you are prepared to jump in to the news company, at least when it comes to scattering the news about your organization!
