Safety measures Airport Taxis should take during a pandemic

COVID-19 regulations and safety precautions are complex and can change as the federal and provincial governments work out details. Despite the uncertainty surrounding COVID-19, there are certain things that will remain constant. These include how London taxi companies should function during this crisis.

The Reopening Ontario Act contains most of these rules. It was created with the intent of helping and guiding individuals and businesses in a safe return back to normalcy. We are only interested in the sections dealing with taxis, ride-sharing companies, and drivers, and we decided to publish the most important parts of the document here. This is not only for Heathrow Taxi Service customers but for all.

This is not meant to be a medical or legal advisory, but a public service announcement and to inform our drivers about what to expect when they board a London Airport Taxi.

Let's take a look at these guidelines:

1. Employers are responsible for screening all employees before they start each shift.

2. Drivers and passengers should wash their hands with soap, water, or use a hand sanitiser (with an alcohol content of 70% or higher).

3. The latter should be completed after any contact with money or passengers' personal belongings. Romford cabs

4. Signs are posted to discourage coughing and sneezing.

London taxi companies offer cleaning services that include:

●      Surfaces that are in direct contact with passengers' hands must be disinfected and cleaned at least twice per day.

●      The procedure must be repeated after the transport of a sick person (coughing or sneezing) or passengers with respiratory issues (sneezing) Brampton Taxi

We also use other preventative measures in our London Airport Taxi & Heathrow Taxi Services:

1. Promoting preventative measures through communication to passengers via phone or posting signs.

2. We strongly recommend the installation of plastic partitions between the front and back seating areas.

Passengers and drivers must wear masks throughout their journey. To ensure maximum protection and eye protection, Redbridge minicab drivers in London must wear medical masks, particularly when helping passengers with luggage or other items.

Although this is not all that is needed, it is enough to send the most important message: Our passengers are safe with our company.
