Reflection
Term "reflection" occurred from the Latin word "reflectio", that means "thinking" and "appeal back". Reflection is the analysis of one’s actions, thoughts, behavior, and emotions on a subconscious level. But do not confuse it with self-awareness. The term appeared initially in philosophy, then became popular in other fields of knowledge, including psychology. Reflection is inherent in each of us, because at least occasionally you thought about the reasons for your failures and defeats. It also helps to learn from your mistakes.
There are different types of reflection: linguistic (aimed at analyzing a person’s characteristics of his speech), personal (its purpose is to know the properties and specifics of one’s own personality), intellectual (formation of a person’s ideas about his intellectual abilities), emotional (man’s knowledge and study of his own emotional sphere)
As a particular problem, reflection became a subject of discussion even in ancient Greece. Socrates highlighted the task of self-knowledge, the subject of which is a spiritual activity in its cognitive function. In Platon and Aristotle, thinking about reflection is interpreted as attributes that were originally inherent in the demiurge, deities. mind, in which the unity of the conceivable and thought is found.
