Be.cash - A tool to send and sign Bitcoin Cash Offline

The criticisms of cryptocurrency have been constant since its inception. They claim that the inability to send funds offline is a weakness. Although most digital currency transactions require internet access, some countries have difficulties connecting to the internet. In the past ten year, many people have invented ways to send BTC and other digital currencies offline. There are applications that can send crypto via SMS, satellite, sneakernet, mesh networking and satellite messaging charity coin. Tobias Ruck, a developer of BCH transactions, introduced an alternative that allows users to send and receive BCH transactions offline on Sunday. Ruck produced the Be.cash project, which includes a video, code repository, and merchant and customer demos.

Ruck is well-known as a developer of applications such SLPDEX. Nimbus. Cryptopandas. He also developed an onchain game for chess using the opcode OP_Checkdatasig. Ruck introduces the merchant and customer sides of a transaction during a 10-minute video. Ruck demonstrated how the 10,000 satoshi transaction could be signed offline and protected by the smart agreement. Ruck explained that the customer can be certain that the merchant will only redeem the funds once. BCH supporters seem to love the Be.cash offline-wallet concept. They shared their opinions on social media and forums. Derrick J Freeman (payment processor Anypay) thanked Ruck. Freeman said, "This will enable us to use Bitcoin in space." Vin Armani, Cointext CTO, asked Ruck to prepare a formal paper along with a specification for Be.cash. Armani continued:

A microprocessor smartcard that can do this and communicate with a point-of sale via NFC/chip will make you a billionaire.

Since 2011, Crypto Advocates Wanted an Offline Wallet Application.

Armani indicated that Be.cash would be able to work on microprocessor smartcards and can be paired with a USD/EUR stabilcoin leveraging SLLP to create a global rival to Visa. Armani said that the noncustodial, but with the same fees/transactions -- Billions each year, is the best option.

Be.cash is a tool that helps people transact in crypto offline. Since 2011, people have been working to build a robust and reliable offline transaction application. A tool called ba.net/offline bch/ was built last year so that people could send BCH UXOs to each other without the need for an internet connection. The creator of the code has made it open source, but he advises people to only use it for small amounts. The website's home page explains that "nothing is sent directly to our server, all codes are run locally in your web browser."
