Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Development of Instrumentation Specifications, Datasheets, Instrumentations I/O Index, DCS System Block Scheme, Preparation of Design Basis, Specification of Field Instruments, instrument drawings, I/O wiring diagrams, Layout drawings, Installation details, JB Termination details, cable schedule and Loop Diagrams;
2. Preparation and reviewing of PCS, ESD and TGS Database, control narratives, Cause and Effect chart for PCS & ESD, all discipline engineering deliverables which includes philosophies, procedures and design documents;
3. Prepare all instrumentation and F&G engineering deliverables such as design basis, specification, data sheets, instrument index, I/O schedule, logic diagram, cable / JB schedule, etc. Instrument Datasheets, Index and I/O list shall be prepared using SPI (INTOOLS) software;
4. Carryout sizing calculations for control valves, safety valves and flow elements, Instrument cable voltage drop & Intrinsically Safe circuit calculations;
5. Prepare Safety Requirement Specifications, SIL verification calculations.
6. Preparation of complete detail Instrumentation Engineering schedule consisting of various stages such as IDC, IFA and IFC deliverables and documents related to procurement and to align it with project schedule;
7. Providing input to process P&ID’s;
8. Participate in technical engineering reviews such as Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs);
9. Review of piping layouts, Isometrics, SPR 3D for the location of all field instruments and suggest providing accessibility for all field instruments;
10. Preparation of Material Requisitions, Purchase Requisition and Technical Bid Evaluation for Instruments and Control system;
11. Responsible for specifying and selecting field instrumentation and control devices;
12. Develop control deliverables such as Control Philosophy, Control Narrative, Cause and Effect diagram, and Control system architecture;
13. Participate in HAZOP and SIL review;
14. Plan, coordinate and prepare equipment or work specifications, bid evaluations and award recommendations for various equipment;
15. Responsible for performing squad check of vendor data and drawings from other disciplines;
16. Have frequent contact with vendors, and internal staff;
17. Providing technical support in SAT/FAT;
18. Interface Management with other Lead Engineers, Client, Contractors, Vendors, Government Agencies and Certification agencies;
19. Preparation, Monitoring and Control Engineering Document Control List and expedite for delay / approvals / resolution of open issues.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

1. Desirable experience in SP3D is a must requirement;
2. Working knowledge of Autodesk Navisworks and 3D model coordination procedures;
3. Experience in major Onshore Oil & Gas Projects, or for Major Oil Company or EPC;
4. Contractor petrochemical, chemical or oil refining industry would be a plus;
5. Experience in pre-award technical activities, involving qualification of Bidders, would be preferable;

Education:

1. Bachelor degree Instrumentation Technologist / Bachelors in Science, Engineering Master degree in the mentioned discipline is highly recommended;
2. Language skills: English at least B2 level is mandatory, Russian is a plus;
3. Professional experience: Min 10 years of technical experience.

Preferred Skills:

1. Know-how and expertise in operation and process engineering in oil & gas industry;
2. Experience in 3D Model in SP3D; experience in SPR and Navisworks for viewing Instrument Modelling work; and extraction of 2D Drawings from 3-D Model;
3. Desirable experience in E3D which is a must requirement;
4. Conversant with standard Drafting procedure;
5. Capability to understand Project specific Drafting procedure complying to quality procedures of Client;
6. Conversant in developing Cable Routing Plan, Tray Layout, Hook Up Drawings, Instrument Location Layouts, Loop & Logic Diagrams, System Architecture Drawings, Graphic Drawings etc and Cable Tray sizing and loading. etc.;
7. Capability for review vendor information and incorporation in drawing;
8. Satisfactory knowledge in Index, Wiring, Hook up and Loop and Logic Diagram Modules of Smart Plant Instrumentation
