The Telegram bot that came to change everything. What is @wallet?
There are many advantages of the TON blockchain: low transaction fees, speed, security, privacy, among many others. However, one of the most attractive that drives the blockchain for mass adoption and that may be a stepping stone for its future everyday use is the Telegram bot @wallet, which allows you to integrate your Telegram account with the TON blockchain.
This wallet is a custodied wallet in which you can store BTC and TON (and USDT in the future). From it you can buy BTC and TON with fiat currencies such as the US dollar, euros or rubles (being 15USD the minimum purchase value and 6000USD the maximum).
The main advantages of this wallet are its zero commissions between Telegram users, its P2P, (or person-to-person), its exchange function between BTC/TON and TON/BTC pairs (hopefully USDT on the Tron network will be added to these pairs in the future). You can also transfer via QR codes or .ton domain names.
You can create checks for other bot users in Telegram or transfer your funds to other wallets without custody, in which case a fee of 0.05TON (about 12 cents currently) would be charged.
With a platform like Telegram, expanding every day, with a number of active users already around 700 million monthly, this bot could revolutionize and simplify the way to make payments and store cryptocurrencies without leaving the application. Also the future addition of such a demanded currency as the USDT could further encourage Telegram users to use the bot and even study a little more the TON blockchain and the crypto world in general.
Of course, being a service guarded by third parties, where the user does not have the private keys of their coins, it is always recommended not to handle very large volumes, not that we distrust the team behind the bot, the support is very friendly, they are very attentive and usually respond almost instantly, but when it comes to our funds it is better to be cautious.
