Reservation of Honda ADV 150 is now open in Malaysia

Boon Siew Honda launched the Honda CBR250RR Race Support Programme in September. Since then, rumours about Honda CBR250RR and Honda ADV 150’s coming to Malaysia have been spreading. In October, Honda BigWing Setapak opened up reservation for the highest spec, Honda CBR250RR, namely the Honda CBR250RR SP in Malaysia. This model is still waiting to be officially launched. However, news from reliable sources revealed that CBR250RR will make its official debut in Malaysia by the end of December.

With the CBR250RR coming soon, Honda ADV 150 2021 will also make its appearance. Recently, Honda Impian X Ee Tiong Motorsports officially announced that the reservation window for the new Honda ADV 150 is already open. Details about the launch have not been announced yet. However, it is certain that the Honda ADV 150 will make its official debut in Malaysia by the end of February 2021.

As for the price tag, rumour has it that the Honda ADV 150 will be on sale for approximately RM15,000, excluding road tax, insurance and registration fee. Now the Honda ADV 150 can be pre-booked in Malaysia for as low as RM 500.

Honda ADV 150 is equipped with adjustable windshield, Honda Smart Key System, full LED lighting with DRLs and ABS as standard. As for suspension, Honda ADV 150 is equipped with a full Show suspension which comprises of 31mm Showa telescopic fork upfront and Showa twin shocks at the rear. A single 240mm disc up front and mechanical 130mm drum or disc brakes at the rear make up the braking.

As for other gears, the ADV 150 features an under-seat compartment with a capacity of 27 litres, as well as a 2-litre glovebox with an inbuilt 12V charging socket.

A 149.3cc SOHC liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine paired with Honda’s ESP (Enhanced Smart Power) and PGM-FI serve as the source of power for Honda ADV 150. A CVT and belt final drive assist the generation of power. The powertrain can generate 14.34hp@8,500rom and 13.8Nm of maximum torque @6,500rpm.
