Here We Go Again Tour

So, Cher is going to another tour, which is nice. A great achievement for someone who is 70+ years old. Not only that, a woman looks incredible (as always). She swears to Gods that this is her LAST tour. I truly think that she means it this time. That's why I kind of wish she would go out with THE BANG! I mean, her previous effort was amazing. I mean the infamous Dressed To Kill Tour (aka D2K Tour). The production was great, but it was cut short due to the unexpected illness.

This time around Cher is playing safe, to say the least. The set-list is the same as her previous Classic Cher residency with few adds of new ABBA covers (SOS, Waterloo, and Fernando). She had to cut 70's classics such as Half Breed, Dark Lady, and Gypsies, Tramps & Thieves. The set looks nice and 'expensive': enormously big LED screen behind the stage, more lights, elaborate decorations. But behind all these fog and mirrors there is nothing that Cher could amaze the fan-alike audience this time around.

I know that she has to promote her latest record 'Dancing Queen', but getting rid of the 70's wouldn't please the older audience who is coming to see their old friend (pun is not intended). I know, most of fans are tired of listening to the same medley of her trademark hits, but how about replacing them with some other classic from your large back catalog. How about bringing back The Way of Love, etc. I'm pretty sure, fans would appreciate it.

Woman's World as the opener should go. Not only, she doesn't sing it at all, totally relying on the pre-recorded track, it's not really that exciting anymore. If you have to push Dancing Queen, start with a banger - Gimme, Gimme, Gimme (A Man After Midnight)

Honestly, it seems that Cher's is not really into this tour. There is almost no place for creativity. Same old costume designs from Bob Mackie with different colors. Same songs. If this IS her last tour, it is rather disappointing...

So, for now, this is the set-list:

1. Woman's World
2. Strong Enough
3. Gayatri Mantra
4. All Or Nothing
5. The Beat Goes On
6. I Got You Babe
7. Welcome to Burlesque
8. Waterloo
9. SOS
10. Fernando
11. After All
12. Walking In Memphis
13. The Shoop Shoop Song (It's in His Kiss)
14. I Found Someone
15. If I Could Turn Back Time
16. Believe
