Putin (Russian president) wrote a letter full of promises to Kim Jong Un (North Korean president)
Vladimir Putin said that the Russian Federation and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea will work together to expand comprehensive and constructive bilateral relations. This was mentioned in Putin's letter to the leader of the DPRK today, August 15, in connection with the Independence Day of Korea .
The strengthening of bilateral relations meets the interests of both countries. In addition, "Russia and North Korea together can strengthen "security and stability" in the Korean Peninsula and the entire region of North-East Asia", writes the President of Russia.
The leader of the DPRK, Kim Jong Un, sent a reply letter to Putin, in which he pointed out that the "strategic and tactical cooperation, support and cooperation" between Russia and the DPRK has reached a new level. He acknowledged "general efforts to prevent provocations and threats by the enemy's armed forces."
The Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) did not specify which enemy forces were referred to in the letter. However, according to the Reuters news agency, the North Korean leader usually uses this term to refer to the United States and its allies.
It should be noted that the leader of North Korea, Kim Jong Un, announced that Pyongyang is fully ready for any military conflict with the United States.
