In Tashkent, a drunken citizen chased "Uchastkovi"(a Russian word meaning police) with a knife

On August 13 of this year in Tashkent, a drunk citizen chased prevention inspectors who came to his house with a knife. Hayat Shamsutdinov, the press secretary of the Prosecutor General's Office, informed about this.

It is noted that on August 13, at 11:00 p.m., two preventive inspectors of Yangihayot district IIB, who were on night duty, went to one of the apartments.

When they arrived at the apartment, they saw that the 35-year-old prisoner, who was registered with the probation service, was drunkenly quarreling with his wife and chasing him, and they tried to calm him down.

"However, the prisoner actively resisted them, and his wife and mother intervened in this process, and the prevention inspectors tore his uniforms."At that time, the prisoner took out a kitchen knife from his house, cut his wrists, and threatened the prevention inspectors with a knife and chased them," the official statement said.

At the same time, preventive inspectors called for additional help and emergency medical personnel, and the injured prisoner was taken to the hospital.

This situation will be investigated by the Yangihayat district prosecutor's office and a legal decision will be made.
