It has been announced how the contracts of women studying at the master's degree will be paid
If women studying at the master's degree apply to the rector of the higher education institution where they are studying before September 15 of each academic year, their contract money will be covered from the state budget. This is stated in the Cabinet of Ministers' decision "On measures to pay contract funds for women studying at master's level in state higher education institutions".
According to the decision, the basic fee-contract (without stipend) sums will be paid in full to the women who have been accepted and are studying at the master's level of the state HEIs. For this, applicants should apply to the rector (branch director) of the higher education institution where they are studying by September 15.
On this basis, rectors (branch directors) adopt the relevant order by October 15 every year. Applications submitted after September 15 will not be considered and the contract sums will not be reimbursed.
Along with state universities, this procedure also applies to the following:
• Academy of Public Administration under the President;
• Academy of the Prosecutor General's Office;
• Higher School of Business and Entrepreneurship under the Ministry of Economic Development and Poverty Alleviation;
• Academy of banking and finance.
Also, this procedure does not apply to female students studying at the master's level in non-state HEIs and branches of foreign HEIs in Uzbekistan.
We remind you that in accordance with the decree of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev "On measures to further accelerate work on systematic support of families and women", starting from 2023, master's degree in public higher education institutions in Uzbekistan contract fees of all studying women will be covered and at least 200 billion soums will be allocated for this every year.
