Trump demanded the return of documents seized by the FBI

Former US President Donald Trump called on the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to immediately return the documents obtained during the search of his Mar-a-Lago residence. Trump announced this on his Truth Social social network, TASS reports .

It turns out that during its famous raid, the FBI seized boxes of attorney-client materials (on the secret relationship between attorney and client), as well as "executive branch" materials (on the President of the United States and other representatives of the executive branch the right to withhold certain confidential communications from courts and legislatures).

"They shouldn't have gotten that. I ask you to immediately return these documents to the place where they were taken," says the former President.

Let's remember that Donald Trump reported that FBI agents searched his residence in Florida on August 8 of this year.

After that, it was reported that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) was looking for classified documents related to nuclear weapons in the estate of former US President Donald Trump in Florida . Later, it became known that the FBI found 11 classified documents from Trump's residence, including materials classified as "top secret" .

It should be noted that earlier this year, the National Archives said that Trump took 15 boxes of presidential records to his private residence in Florida. The boxes allegedly contained "classified national security information" and official correspondence between Trump and foreign heads of state.
