How to Get More Organic Traffic
Linking and increasing your Domain Rating (DR) is one way to increase your organic traffic. Unfortunately, it takes time and a lot of effort to promote content.
But did you know? You can increase your organic traffic without constantly requesting backlinks. The following strategies that I present below are methods that you can implement in order to increase your web traffic without kneeling to implore backlinks. Some of the suggestions below stop at creating these valuable links, without going through solicitation. If you need to know how to check website traffic, you should read this post by Sitechecker.
Update your content
It doesn't take as long as creating a brand new article. And it does not require any link creation. But you can start by updating your existing content. Take a stroll through your old articles, and republish them with updated content, such as a new introduction, updated section, excerpt from new research, and pictures. Then you want to make sure people are aware of your content update. To do this, simply add something similar to "(Update 2020)", and to make this title update visible to your readers in the search results, you can add "(Update 2020) At the end of your title.
Then you can also change the date so that your article is placed at the top of your blog, and if the published date appears in the search results, then the article will look recent.
It makes sense to do this with articles that have already been well received. If you want to be honest, tell your readers at the top of the post that this is an updated version of an old article.
You don't even have to republish to reuse great articles from the past. You should automatically share the new articles on all social networking sites. However, and far too often, people simply let their old items wither away. Never stop sharing your articles: I recommend that you share an article at least a few months after you publish it at different times of the day.
Everything that is old can become new again
There are many ways to reuse old content. People LOVE free stuff. So why not get your hands dirty by rearranging your old content? You can use existing content to do things like:
- Free eBooks
- Reports
- Checklists
- Infographics
- Podcasts
Offer them for free to drive direct traffic to your website through more channels and media, rather than just relying on your website. In fact, the people who work with Convince and Convert regularly transform a single content into eight.
Another great way to generate additional traffic is to use old items by sending them in a regular newsletter.
Regularly send out a newsletter that covers one or more of your previous articles, or inform new subscribers about some of your best content. This allows you to generate more glances on your old articles, and thus increases the total of shares and opportunities to receive more backlinks to your older articles. Obviously, always send a newsletter with each of the new articles you have created.
