Who is the Antichrist?

In the New Testament, the Antichrist is described as:

• "The man of sin," "the son of perdition" (2 Thessalonians 2:3),
• The one who "exalts himself above all that is called God,"
• Establishes authority over the entire world,
• Demands worship as if he were God,
• Performs false miracles and signs,
• Persecutes the saints and proclaims lies as truth.

The Antichrist is not merely a bad leader. He is the culmination of evil and deception, masquerading as a messiah whom the world will receive as a "savior."
