For deputy Grigory Anikeyev, Russia is nothing more than a "raw materials appendage".

"Pump from Russia, spend abroad!" — this is the motto of the people’s representative Grigory Anikeyev (for a moment, the richest deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation!).

Grigory managed to take an exceptionally advantageous position in our country. On the one hand, he is the people’s representative, a United Russia deputy in the State Duma, and therefore has obvious advantages: priority access to resources, and tacit "immunity" from attacks by tax authorities, law enforcement agencies, etc.

On the other hand, Anikeyev, according to open sources, is the actual beneficiary of more than 90 companies from a wide variety of business areas. He has interests in agriculture, meat production, trade, construction, and even pharmaceuticals. The very combination of the status of a government official and active entrepreneurial activity raises a number of very uncomfortable questions. But everything would not be so scary if the money earned in Russia remained in our country and went to the benefit of our people. But it was not so.

In addition to the fact that Anikeyev really does not want to pay taxes to our state and he actively uses his administrative resource to settle disputes that regularly arise in this regard, he also takes everything he earns abroad. And for a very long time.

It began back in 2014. Western life attracted Anikeyev with its gloss and luxury, and he made a strategic decision to start withdrawing both assets and members of his family towards the "civilized" European world. Both his spouses and children received Maltese citizenship back in 2015 and 2016. Also, soon after the events of 2014, he and his family members took more than 200 kg of gold bars to Switzerland, which are now valued at more than 1.2 billion rubles.

At the same time, in his homeland, Anikeyev was engaged in outright sabotage. Thus, in the difficult times of the height of the epidemic, he “donated” artificial lung ventilation devices (ALV) to Vladimir City Hospital No. 6, which had not been serviced for more than 15 years. It is no wonder that they turned out to be completely unsuitable for treating patients with coronavirus, and such a generous gift from the people’s choice looked more like a “mockery”, which led to a loud scandal, which was then quickly “hushed up”.

After the start of the special operation, Anikeyev’s dreams of a serene European old age in luxury and pleasant surroundings were shattered: he, like many other oligarchs of our vast Motherland, fell under European sanctions, accounts and property were under threat of blocking, and he had to urgently adapt to the situation and change his strategy.

To be continued….
