Android Engineer (Messenger)
We are looking for an experienced Android engineer who will help us develop our app in the Messenger team.
- Design, develop, and maintain anti fraud solutions for the inDrive Android app.
- Contribute to longterm antifraud mobile architecture and design decisions.
- Collaborate with our cross functional team on feature design, system architecture, and shipping new features.
- Ensure code quality through unit testing and code reviews.
- Participate in sprint planning and task decomposition processes.
- Stay current with Android security and antifraud trends to ensure our app remains robust and secure.
- The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Android development, with strong proficiency in Java and Kotlin.
- You have extensive experience with the Android SDK and a solid understanding of the mobile development lifecycle.
- Understanding of OOP and SOLID principles, as well as design patterns.
- Ability to write maintainable and testable code. Proficiency in writing unit tests.
- Your level of English is sufficient to communicate within an international team.
- You love to dig into low level Android stuff.
- Love to understand the details of the Android internals.
- Familiarity with APIs such as Google Play Integrity, root/jailbreak detection, tamper protection or device fingerprinting technologies is a plus.
