An international company which has been on the market since 2009 - the maker of of the #1 OS for web-hosting providers is looking for a Lead Python Software Engineer to join its team.
Company’s products are used by thousands of companies around the world, including Dell, GoDaddy, IBM, Zoom, and many others. You will be contributing to a rapidly growing product that leverages AI to automate code reviews and enhance code quality across multiple development teams.
It is a fully remote company with flexible hours with a team mostly based in CET.
- Lead end-to-end development of the AI-Based Code Reviewer framework
- Prototype quickly, iterate based on feedback
- Hire and lead the team
- Customize the framework for specific projects and teams
- Collaborate with R&D teams to refine the PoC
- Ensure rapid delivery with high-quality standards
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders
- 8+ years of backend development experience
- Strong Python expertise (5+ years) and proficiency in another language (C/C++/PHP/Go)
- Recent hands-on coding & code review experience
- Technical & team leadership while remaining hands-on
- Experience with CI/CD (GitLab, Docker, Kubernetes)
- Full-cycle development: from architecture to production
- Ownership of technical decisions & implementation
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT)
- English B2+ for effective team communication
- Long-term B2B contract
- Experience with compilers, parsers, and AST
- Experience developing products from prototype to production
- Familiarity with AI/ML and LLMs
- Experience integrating AI solutions in backend development
- Experience as a Product Owner or Manager
