AQA Team Leader

Platform Development Division is a team of professionals dedicated to developing and maintaining high-performance products. They work closely with other teams to ensure reliability and scalability, focusing on delivering top-notch services to our clients.
We are looking for a AQA Team Leader to drive our test automation processes while leading and mentoring a small AQA Team. This is a hands-on role, combining leadership, technical expertise, and process ownership.
This role is perfect for an experienced automation engineer ready to take on leadership responsibilities while staying hands-on in automation and testing.
Our Stack:
- NodeJS (Mocha.js, Chai.js)
- HTTP API, Allure Report (Allure TestOps)
- MySQL (MariaDB), MongoDB, RabbitMQ
- Grafana, ELK
- Artillery.io/K6 for performance testing
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a small team of AQA engineers while remaining hands-on
- Develop and maintain automated tests for backend services
- Oversee and optimize the entire testing process, ensuring best practices are followed
- Design and implement CI/CD test automation
- Collaborate with developers and DevOps teams to improve test coverage and reliability
- Generate reports, provide insights, and drive continuous test improvements
- Ensure the scalability and maintainability of the test automation framework
Requirements:
- Strong expertise in test automation with NodeJS (design, development, and maintenance of test suites)
- Solid understanding of test design techniques, test planning, and strategy development
- Proficiency in SQL with the ability to write complex queries to verify data integrity
- Experience in API testing (functional, performance, security)
- Strong knowledge of relational databases, queries, and stored procedures
- Familiarity with DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes)
- Leadership experience: mentoring, guiding, and overseeing the work of other engineers
- Intermediate English, fluent Russian
- Experience with load testing (K6, JMeter)
- Understanding of performance bottlenecks and optimization
- Background in fintech product development
