Project Manager (Processing Payments)
Our team designs, manages, and improves the processes behind domestic and cross-border transfers, customer payments for services, and cash deposits. We work not only with internal teams but also directly with external partners such as third-party providers, governmental services and other financial services to keep transactions flowing smoothly and to create a flawless customer experience
Major Duties and Essential Functions:
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing schedules, priorities, and deliverables
- Clearly define project scope, develop realistic timelines, and set milestones
- Monitor dependencies and critical paths across different work streams to prevent delays
- Organize regular status meetings, prepare project reports, and escalate risks or decisions to management when needed.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external partners (banks, processors, providers) throughout the full project lifecycle
- Lead cross-functional discussions between technical and business teams, ensuring requirements are aligned and meetings stay productive
- Coordinate resources and align with managers to confirm assignments and responsibilities
- Track project outcomes after release, ensuring that new features perform as expected and coordinating adjustments if required
- 2+ years of experience in fintech, banking, or payments
- Strong understanding of the payments lifecycle, transfers, and card/payment networks
- Familiarity with key payment providers and platforms: Mastercard/Visa, Apple/Google Pay, PayPal, Stripe, Adyen, SEPA, SWIFT, SPEI, etc.
- Excellent project management, time management, and organizational skills
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey information clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
- Fluent verbal and written English
- Self-starter with an ability to achieve results both independently and as part of a broader team
- Strong capacity for context-switching and prioritization, with the ability to oversee parallel projects and structure them in a way that maximizes efficiency
