Gno info

Gnoland uses a new language called Gnorang, which is derived from Golang. Golang is better than other languages at dealing with concurrency because it uses Goroutines instead of multiple threads. Current blockchains are slow, expensive, and challenging to use or code applications on. Despite the huge amount of money flowing into the blockchain space in recent years, there is a shortage of developers focused on decentralized applications running on smart contracts. The likely reason for this is the lack of an effective smart contract platform for developers to work with. We believe that Jae Kwon is building Gnoland to introduce a high-performance blockchain capable of running smart contracts, taking full advantage of Golang and modern computer hardware.
