Lady Gaga has confirmed the new release date of her new album 'Chromatica' is 29 May.

She said alongside a new photo from the album: "The journey continues. You can officially join me on #Chromatica on May 29."

Weeks before it’s scheduled release on 10 April, Gaga wrote in a statement: “After a lot of deliberation, I’ve made the incredibly tough decision to postpone the release of Chromatica and will announce a new 2020 release date soon.”

She added that she would prefer her fans to focus on finding solutions for the current ongoing global pandemic.

Lady Gaga spent the majority of March and April fundraising for the World Health Organisation to aid the COVID-19 relief fund, organising the One World: Together at Home concert to provide a much-needed show for the globe.

She launched her new era back in late February with the release of “Stupid Love” and had planned to make a surprise appearance at Coachella in April until the coronavirus pandemic began to spread wider.

Following the announcement, Gaga went to work as the creative director and curator for Global Citizen’s One World: Together at Home virtual benefit to help support COVID-19 relief efforts around the world. Following the April event, she returned to the world of Chromatica and announced the official, 16-song track list. Elton John, Ariana Grande and Blackpink will all appear on the album. She has yet to release another song since “Stupid Love.”
