Some people say education is the only critical factor to the development of a country. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?
One of the hand, that is education could make people, who competent in solving problems of country, but on the other hand is that improving in different directions like economy or social systems might be better.
Without education, many people will be dead weight for country, cause they won't know how to improve it, but if we make a quality general education for all of us, we can make many specialists, who can improve life in our country. History has a lot situations, like Singapore, where government had spent money for education and then received fruits from students, who were working and made a lot new discoveries. By teaching, the country will give to pupil values of important improving the place, where they live. So after all studying, at the end we will see a person, who have high skill knowledge, and who wants to work.
The disadvantage, that the other directions won't progress, while country spending a big part of recourses to education. The problem of good education is that people, who live in poverty, cant let spend money for studying, or even if studying will free, the people, who don't have money for subsistence, can't spend time for learnings, cause it doesn't give them just a chance to eat something. So the other side is at first improve economy and social systems.
The universal solution is grow both of sides, so people, who dont have enough, will target more on advancement with others.
In conclusion, I have to say that, education is one of the most useful things, but if students couldn't study, the teaching would worth nothing, so i think the best solutions is make developments in both of sides, this plan has fewer problems than each of previous
