Anti Social Social Club and BAPE's Second Collaboration Gets Funky With All-Over Camo
Anti Social Social Club and BAPE have announced a third collaborative collection in celebration of Los Angeles and Tokyo. Following the Los Angeles-exclusive capsule that released in April 2018 and a New York-only drop from May 2017, the two’s third offering is rife with ASSC’s signature text graphics and BAPE’s iconic FIRST CAMO pattern, making for a striking slate of camouflaged emotions.
Lookbook images show three different types of camo: a classic woodland style mix of tan, brown and green, a bright cotton candy-esque pink and a cool mixture of blue hues. All three of these palettes spread across the vast majority of the collection’s hooded sweatshirts and tees. ASSC’s sad boy style is provided on both the front and rear of most items: the chest serves up small unaltered text logos and askew katakana, while the back overlays a full-size text hit with more Katakana characters. Hooded sweatshirts dole out an extra punch of flair with more Japanese text on the hood itself. For those who’d prefer something a touch more toned down, there’s also camo-covered ABC “box logo” t-shirts as well.
The Anti Social Social Club x BAPE Fall 2020 collection will release on September 4 at 11 A.M. ET via the Anti Social Social Club webstore in the US. In Japan, it’ll release on September 5 at BAPE Harajuku and the BAPE webstore.
Adidas Yeezy Quantum Set For A Return On September 5th
After being released during this year’s NBA All-Star Weekend through a unique, and somewhat questionable marketing activation, the adidas Yeezy Quantum is in preparation to make a more widespread delivery next month. For clarification, this restock will be of the lifestyle variation, so you can expect this forthcoming batch to feature the zig-zag reflective hits and non-pixelated side wall graphics.
Since its debut this past February, the Kanye-designed colorway hasn’t climbed too high up on the secondary market as prices currently sit between the $400-$750 range depending on size, but after this release, those price points certainly have a potential of dipping. For those interested in picking up a pair of these Yeezys, they’ll be arriving on September 5th for $250 likely via adidas.com and Yeezy Supply, so don’t worry about chasing down any sherpa trucks this time around.
Release Date: September 5th, 2020
Price: $250
League Of Legends Enlists Jordan Brand For A 2020 World Championship Inspired Air Jordan 1 Zoom
Thanks in part to its rapidly growing fan base and large pool of professional level players, League of Legends has quickly become one of the largest games in the e-sports scene, garnering over 100 million viewers during 2019’s worlds alone. And now with the 2020 championship soon underway, Riot has enlisted a little help from Jordan Brand to craft an Air Jordan 1 Zoom inspired by the first place trophy.
Ornate like that of the #1 prize, the offering embellishes with a number of luxurious and colorful accents. Its base, though deceptively neutral, seems to bear a slight texture that contrasts the iridescent overlays adjacent; these, which dresses in a brighter purple hue, wrap the heel counter, ankle flaps, toe cap, and all the usual fixtures in complement to the swoosh whose gradient bears the same cool tones. Laces finish with a saturated hit of royal, looping atop what looks to be a navy tongue.
Grab a first look at these here and expect further imagery to arrive once the 2020 worlds start at the end of the month.
