RTX 5090 Mining Test & AI Farming
Here is a summary table of my hash rate values for the RTX 5090 in mining, across popular algorithms. I conducted the tests with default overclocking settings at full GPU power consumption (using Rigel Miner 1.20.1 supports RTX 5090, 5080):
I also tested AI farming in the Kuzko testnet with LLM models, achieving an average speed of 200 tok/s vs RTX 4090 125 tok/s
Aleo — OULA, ZKWORK, and Warthog — BzMiner did not run, as the developers have not yet added support for the RTX 5000 series.

Conclusion: It consumes power like a dinosaur and heats up like a heater.
You’ll need to install custom water cooling, carefully select a power supply, and check the GPU revision as there are some defective units.
