What is a Part-Time MTech Program?
Part-Time MTech is a specific programme for the students who are currently employed and have completed a B. Tech. This is the top degree in the field of engineering. In the engineering universities located in India, MTech is generally a 2-year course requiring students to take part in a full-time university course. But Part-Time MTech is AICTE's approved course, where students are not required to attend the university full-time to complete the course. All MTech part-time colleges are scheduled to take classes on weekends so that the workers can attend the college and continue their work as well. The duration of part-time MTech is 3 years as lessons are held on weekends only. Thus in six semesters, a student completes his entire MTech Part-Time course. The course imparts the advanced knowledge of technology based on the specialization and the curriculum of the course is the same as the regular MTech course. The student must delete GATE in regular MTech and meet the cut-off of the schools.
