Blink-182 reunites with Mark, Tom and Travis for Tour in United States

The band Blink-182 surprised by announcing a new Blink 182 tour, Travis Barker, Mark Hoppus, and Tom DeLonge, will play its 32nd show in the U.S. Everything seems to indicate that this will be a big year for the music industry since a rumour started gaining traction: Return of guitarist Tom DeLonge at Blink-182.

Blink-182 will begin its global tour in Tijuana, Mexico, in March 2023.

After a stint in Latin America, the band, which includes Travis Barker, Mark Hoppus, and Tom DeLonge, will play its 32nd show in the U.S. starting in May, with a final show in Nashville before heading to Europe.

Tickets go on sale on Monday. Still, the band will be releasing a new single, “Edging,” to treat fans on Friday.

The international tour will feature Turnstile in North America, Rise Against in Australia, The Story So Far in the UK and Europe, and Wallows in Latin America.

Tickets for the Blink-182 tour will go on sale at 10 am on Monday, October 17, on website Blink-182.com.

DeLonge and Hoppus formed Blink-182 in 1992, and Barker joined as a drummer in 1998.

The band went on hiatus and explored side projects in 2005; DeLonge focused on the band Angels & His Airwaves.

They reunited for a reunion and new music tour in 2009, but DeLonge left the band in 2015.

Since then, Barker has collaborated with many other artists, and Blink-182, along with Skiba, released two albums, “California” in 2016 and “Nine” in 2019.

In 2021, Hoppus revealed that He was diagnosed with cancer. Since then, he has been cancer free.

Barker and DeLonge got together after his diagnosis, prompting many fans to speculate about a reunion.

In 2015, Barker and Hoppus announced that DeLonge had left the band “indefinitely” with the release.

The guitarist quickly dropped the allegations, writing that he “never left the band” and calling the press release “weird.”

That all changed as new promotional photos are back with the trio, and fans on social media are getting excited about “Tom is back.”

Since the hiatus, the band has had many turnovers and iterations as the trio embarked on solo careers.

The extensive tour includes stops in North America, South America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand from March 2023 to February 2024.

Turnstile will join Blink-182 for the North American leg.

The trio is also set to headline Latin America’s Lollapalooza festivals in Argentina, Chile and Brazil, as well as the When We Were Young festival back in Las Vegas. See the complete program below.

The silver lining of Hoppus’ diagnosis was that it prompted him and DeLonge to reconnect.

Hoppus talked about his cancer treatment in a recent interview with People, saying that the trio had spent some time together before he started chemotherapy and that they were “in a great place.” now.”

The bass player added:

“I continue to write music, and I’m ready for the next phase of Blink… I’m hopeful for the future. I am so happy to be here.”

Barker pursued a solo career as a drummer and appeared on the Meet the Barkers reality show, which documented his life with his ex-wife Shanna Moakler and their two children, Alabama and Landon.

In May, Barker and Kourtney Kardashian married in Italy in a Dolce & Gabbana-filled wedding.

Bassist Hoppus launched an apparel line and starred in television and film while staying focused on music.

In 2021, Hoppus announced he had been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, saying he was “worried” but “blessed with great doctors.”

A few months later, in September 2021, he said he was. After multiple treatments, he announced that he was cancer-free.

Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian

DeLonge formed his band Angels & Airwaves after leaving Blink-182 and released his debut solo album in 2015.

The last time the trio played together was in 2008 when Barker survived a fatal plane crash that killed four of him, himself, and his fellow musician Adam “DJ AM” Gold. Stein was the sole survivor.

A crack in 2008 left Barker suffering from PTSD and unable to travel by plane for the tour.

Barker recently overcame his fear of flying and credits much of that change to his now-wife.

“I’m invincible with her. It’s like I never dreamed of it,” he spoke in an interview with Nylon.

Social media updates of Blink-182

Dude, Ranch writers updated their Instagram accounts with mystery.

Initially, they delete all their posts, leaving the feed empty.

Also, they removed the band members’ names from the description.

If you go to their official website, there is a message saying “under construction”.

But if that wasn’t enough, Tom DeLong also updated his Instagram description, where he added Blink-182 to his activities.

Fans of the band assure us that a big announcement is coming very soon.

There were even rumours that it would be the guitarist’s return, for which Troy Hanson, Cumulus Media’s vice president of rock formats, posted a post about it, but it was later deleted.

Blink-182 and revelation of John Frusciante:

Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker liked Flea’s post announcing that John Frusciante would be joining the Red Hot Chili Peppers, replacing Josh Klinghoffer on guitar.

Many Blink-182 fans were frustrated by this, as they wanted to see Tom DeLonge return to the team to replace Matt Skiba.

One fan even tweeted Mark Hoppus a version of the Red Hot Chilli Peppers announcement with the name Blink-182 inserted.

System of a Down revealed the heartbreaking news of John Frusciante a few days ago.

Aloha_Face posted on the Blink-182 Reddit, “If John Frusciante can come back with the chills after he left the band twice and said he’s never coming back, then Tom DeLonge could be back. Everything is possible.”

Tom DeLonge Wants Blink-182 To Sound Like Coldplay, Says Travis Barker.

In a new interview with Blink-182, drummer Travis Barker talks about former member Tom DeLonge and therefore the direction he wants the band to take.

“I think Blink is like eternal youth. [Bassist] Mark [Hoppus] and that I never want to change,” he told YouTube personality Mr Wavvy. “The last two albums, Tom wanted to sound like U2; record songs like Coldplay.
