Emma Watson talks about the bond and the feeling with her set colleague Tom Felton: “We especially love each other.”
Emma Watson has decided to tell about her special bond with Tom.
In the foreword to Felton’s memoir Beyond the wand, Emma praised the colleague she met on the set of the Harry Potter films, in which she played Hermione Granger.
In contrast, he played Draco Malfoy, with whom she formed a unique relationship that gave birth to a splendid friendship that still lasts today and that she struggles to “explain to people” since the nature of their connection cannot be described in words.

“For more than 20 years, we have especially loved each other, and I have lost count of the times people have said to me: ‘You must have kissed!’ or “There must be something,” she wrote the 32-year-old referring to her friendship with Tom which, according to her, is much deeper and more intimate than a simple physical attraction.
“We are soul mates, we have always supported each other, and I know we always will,” said Emma, star of films like Beauty and the Beast, The Circle, and Little Women.
“I am moved to think about it,” admitted the actress before adding: “Friendships are the core of human existence, and I am so grateful that, in the crucial moments of my life, Tom was there to reassure me and understand me. Our friendship has allowed me to overcome some of my life’s most challenging inner research moments.”
This isn’t the first time the actress in the Harry Potter films ( whose cast also featured Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and the late Robbie Coltrane, interpreter of Hagrid ) spoke of his connection with Tom.
In fact, in 20211, Emma had revealed to Seventeen that she had “a big crush on Felton” at the time of the shooting of the first two films of the saga taken from the books by JK Rowling, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone (2001) and Harry Potter and the chamber of secrets (from 2002).
“He was my first crush, and he knows this quite well. We talked about it. We still laugh at it. We are excellent friends now, and it’s fantastic” Emma concluded that even today, she reaffirms how love for Tom has never resulted in a couple of relationships.
