OTC guide

OTC stands for Over-the-Counter, literally - bypassing the counter. This term refers to over-the-counter trade carried out directly between people. In such a case, the seller and the buyer enter into a transaction directly with each other, usually with the assistance of third parties.

In order to be a competent user of the OTC market, you need to know the following rules.

1) Always write WTB if you want to buy. Literally translated as Want to buy. Accordingly, WTS - if you want to sell. Each sentence in OTC chats should be started with these abbreviations.
2) In your message, always write the purchase or sale price. Appreciate your and others' time. You can add that bargaining is appropriate in PM.
3) Use # hashtags. For example #Acala #Flow #Mina. Using these hashtags, people can find ads that interest them.
4) Write briefly, clearly and without emoji
5) Read the rules of each OTC сhat. They may differ.

Examples of a well-formed sentence.
- WTS #Acala 3150 tokens 7 $ for each, escrow only. (pm for price discussions)
- WTB #Clover option 3, unfunded for 1000 $, escrow

Precautionary measures.
I think everyone knows that a large number of scammers work in the crypto, so before EACH transaction you need to check the following:

1) OTC group must be verified. There are not many of them in the crypto, so 2TOP made its own OTC chat.
2) All transactions should only go through escrow. Escrow is a third party / guarantor who is responsible for the security of the transaction.

Here's an example: A seller sells Mina tokens to a buyer. The seller transfers Mina's tokens to the guarantor, and the buyer in turn transfers USDT. Only after both people have sent their funds, the guarantor sends Mina tokens to the buyer and USDT to the seller. The process is similar with accounts.

3) Always check the guarantor's nickname, scammers make accounts almost identical to the real escrow. For example, not marienko_d, but marienk0_d
4) Groups for transactions can only be created by the Guarantor and he must invite people to the PM through the link. Scammers often create fake groups with fake Escrow.
5) There are trusted wallets in the OTC group pinning, before sending your funds somewhere - check that they match
6) A small commission will be charged for each transaction through escrow, see details
