Instructions for activating and running games from a shared Steam account

1. Download single-player games from the library that don't require a constant network connection.
2. Check if all updates are installed - you won't be able to run games in offline mode without them. You can transfer game files from an external drive to your computer, but then they just won't run: you'll still need a licence check from Steam itself.
3. Go to Steam settings in the ‘Account’ section and uncheck the ‘Do not save account data on this computer’ box. If it wasn't there, good.
4. Click on the Steam tab in the top left corner and go offline.
5. Check if all installed games are running offline. If so, you are fully prepared to disconnect the Internet.
6. If you get error 50 when logging in, right click on the steam-properties icon and write -tcp with a space in the object.
