OTC guide

OTC stands for Over-the-Counter, which literally means "over the counter". This term refers to over-the-counter trading carried out directly between people. In this case, the seller and the buyer conclude a deal directly with each other, usually with the help of third parties.

To be a competent user of OTC market, you need to know the following rules.

1) Always write WTB if you want to buy. Literally translated as Want to buy. Correspondingly WTS - if you want to sell. With these abbreviations you must start every sentence in OTC chats.
2) In your message always write the price to buy or sell. Appreciate your and others' time. You can add that bargaining is appropriate in private.
3) Use #hashtags. For example #NYM #Galaxy #Mina. People can use these hashtags to find the ads they are interested in.
4) Write briefly, clearly and without memoji.
5) Read the rules of each OTC chat. They may be different.

Examples of a properly worded sentence.
- WTS #SHIBA 2000 tokens $5 for each, escrow only. (pm for price discussions)
- WTB #Coinlist option 2, unfunded for $1000, escrow

Precautions.
I think everyone knows that there are a lot of scammers working in crypto, so you should check the following before EVERY transaction:

1) OTC group should be verified. There are few of them in telegram, and our

OTC chat is one of the most trusted and reliable.

2) All transactions should only pass through escrow. Escrow is a third party/guarantor who is responsible for transaction security.

Here's an example: Seller sells Nexo accounts to buyer. Buyer transfers payment to guarantor and seller in turn transfers accounts to buyer. Only after the buyer verifies the accounts and changes all the data for himself, the guarantor sends the seller his payment. The process is similar with tokens.

3) Always check guarantor's nickname, scammers make accounts almost identical to real escrow.
4) Groups for transactions can only be created by a guarantor and he should invite people to the ls through a link. Scammers often create fake groups with fake Escrow.
5) There are trusted wallets in OTC group's bolster, before you send your funds somewhere - check that they are the same
