Hemodialysis Water Treatment Systems
While nurses may not routinely service the water treatment system or mix the dialysate, they are responsible for understanding all of the clinical ramifications of water treatment and dialysate preparation for hemodialysis as a part of the entire dialysis treatment picture. Although the water treatment system has historically been in the technicians' domain, knowing the technical aspects is important for the entire team to work together to ensure patient safety and well-being. This article describes the composition of water treatment systems for hemodialysis, as well as the monitoring and testing necessary to assure that both water and dialysate are safe for patient use.

Drinking water is treated and transported through a distribution system within a dialysis centre. It is used in the preparation of dialysate concentrates and for proportioning concentrates at the dialysis machine to produce the final dialysate bath. Water treatment is necessary to reduce endotoxemia and chemical hazards associated with water use for Haemodialysis.
Water treatment plays a vital role in the delivery of safe and effective hemodialysis (HD). Ensuring that water quality meets the American Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation standards and recommendations (or equivalent) is necessary to reduce the incidence of chemical hazards and endotoxemia associated with the use of water for HD. This review will discuss the principles of water treatment for HD, the essential components of water purification, the recommended system monitoring and maintenance procedures, and some of the historical incidents of adverse reactions that resulted from the use of contaminated dialysis water.
The classification of Dialysis Water Treatment System includes Two-stage Hemodialysis Water Equipment, Single-stage Hemodialysis Water Equipment and other. And the production proportion of Two-stage Hemodialysis Water Equipment in 2015 is about 88%.
