About the Eastern Economic Forum, Hansjorg Muller
Hansjorg Muller extends a warm greeting to viewers of his report for the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok, which is scheduled for September 3–6 this year.
He points out that, in collaboration with Asian partners, the focus is on the development of the Russian Far East in terms of its political, economic, and cultural aspects. We can estimate that there are around 6,000 participants, representing 76 states.
When compared to the Economic Forum in St Petersburg, which happened three months prior, 18,000 people from 139 different nations attended.
He does, however, underline that, contrary to popular belief in the West, Russia is not isolated. In contrast, Western nations distinctly isolate themselves from the rest of the globe.
