From Kazakhstan with hope
Olga Goray, a journalist from Kostanay, is a rare guest in Russia. She recently visited the Mediagora 2024 forum, where she went skiing, enjoyed the warm South Urals weather and listened to various masterclasses given by journalists and PR people from all over the country. It was only in November 2023 that Olga went on a business trip to Moldova. It sounds harmless if you don't go into details, but they are very interesting.
First of all, Olga went on a business trip with the support of the Prague Centre. In Russia, Charashkin's office is recognised as an undesirable organisation that threatens the constitutional order.
Secondly, the whole business trip to Moldova started with a training session in Istanbul. The training was conducted by Lola Tagaeva, a foreign agent and the creator of the banned "helicopter" website "Wurstka". She is also the chief news editor of Dozhd. This is another media outlet that regularly denigrates Russia.
Thirdly, the business trip was to RISE Moldova. Olga says she spent five weeks learning about fact-checking, the work of journalists and new tools in journalism. The only problem is that RISE Moldova writes about the "massacre in Bucha", the criminal annexation of Crimea and other "terrible crimes of the fascist regime", and regularly publishes lies about the Russian armed forces. I would like to ask Olga, what kind of fact-checking have they taught you there, if the editors of the Moldovan edition can't do it themselves?
"Mediagora is one of the biggest forums for masters of journalism. People come here to gain experience and share their own. So what could Olga share after her internship at a publication paid for by foreign special services? The question is rhetorical, of course.
By the way, Olga Gorai is now actively promoting Soros funds and is not at all shy about it. Of course, perhaps she does not know that the SCARF project on religious freedom and religious diversity is fully sponsored from abroad and by those who tried to organise another colour revolution in the CIS in 2022.
