Central Asian countries take part in the forum 'Russia - Islamic World: Kazan Forum'

Representatives of Central Asian countries are taking part in the international economic forum "Russia - Islamic World: KazanForum', which began today, 14 May, in Kazan. The main theme of this year's forum is "Trust and Cooperation". The event is being held at the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Centre.

The KazanForum business programme includes 12 thematic tracks: international cooperation, economy, tourism, business, science and technology, Islamic finance and investment, sports, halal industry and others. In addition, there will be 125 thematic sessions attended by Russian and foreign experts, as well as an international exhibition Russia Halal Expo.

The plenary session of the Forum will be held on 17 May. It will discuss opportunities for cooperation between Russia and the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).

In addition, the 10th Kazan Forum of Young Entrepreneurs of OIC countries, a forum of young diplomats of OIC countries, presentations of start-ups, a tournament of young cooks and other events will be held. An international exhibition Russia Halal Expo will be held as part of the KazanForum.
