Aero cool Wave PC Case Overview
Aerocool Wave is amazing, first of all, because the company once again managed to make a seemingly premium model. But - in the mid-budget price category, with its own charisma, with a good set of peripherals and a couple of nice features.
Market positioning
The handsome man's price varies around $50, depending on the package. And the kit can include one fan without backlighting, FOUR fans with FRGB lighting and a quartet of fans, but with full RGB lighting.
However, you have to pay almost 50% extra for the most RGB version, since it is still poorly represented in our country.
Appearance
Visually, however, all models are the same. The front panel is about two asymmetrical areas, with a deep dissection relatively in the center. See this for more details about Mini PC
The left side is solid, the right side is perforated and has a filter. There is also a small gap at the bottom, but more for gripping and removing this very panel than for airflow.
Behind, in addition to landing under the turntables on top, and the hole for the power supply at the bottom, we have seven expansion slots, which are fastened with a very, VERY well-made clip.
I hate clamps almost everywhere I see them - but here at Aerocool they figured out how to do it right, conveniently, well and without unnecessary hemorrhoids on the whole back ass. My pleasure, as they say in these entornnets of yours.
The top panel consists of two USB 3.0, one USB 2.0, mini-jacks for microphone and headphones, as well as power and reset buttons.
The latter works as a backlight mode switch, if there is one on the fans.
There is also a perforation on top for radiators, but without any filter or mesh.
Below we have four rather high legs with a rubberized base, as well as perforation for the power supply and fastening baskets with disks.
On the left side is a tempered glass panel, with light tinting, screwed on with four rubberized screws. The panel on the right is pure metal.
Specifications and Compatibility
Case - mid-tower format, with dimensions of 206 × 450 × 372 mm, weighs 4.1 kg.
The metal of Aerocool Wave is generally thin, 0.5 mm, and does not claim any records, but given the price, this is very normal.
Inside we have a power supply partition, as well as a landing for ATX / micro ATX / mini-ITX motherboards.
There can be four drives in total, of which two are 3.5 ”drives or all four are 2.5” format. To be honest, the mount for drives under the power supply baffle is very strange, and the sled is made, to put it mildly, fun.
And the instructions in this case are extremely uninformative. And as for the seats for drives on top, depending on the size of the motherboard, they may not be available at all.
Cooling
Fans, on the other hand, can be stuffed into Aerocool Wave almost on both cheeks.
There are two 120mm ones on top, three 120mm ones are already installed in the front (WX-12025), but can be replaced with two 140mm ones.
There is one 120 mm at the back, a couple of 120 mm can also be screwed on the bottom of the casing.
With liquid cooling, everything is sadder. Radiators fit only at the rear, at 120 mm, and at the front, up to 280 mm (with a maximum length of 323 mm and a thickness of not more than 28 mm inclusive).
