How to Wager?
Viewer wagering is an integral feature of the ZeroSum platform, offering a unique way for viewers to engage with live eSports events. Without having to compete directly, viewers can still be part of the action by placing bets on match outcomes, players and streamers of their choice. This feature not only enhances the viewing experience but also provides a chance to win real cash rewards. Wagering opportunities are available for in-platform tournaments, with details and schedules regularly updated on ZeroSum Discord server.
How Viewer Wagering Works at ZeroSum
The viewer selects a tournament and a player (or team) and places a wager on them. It's important to note that they compete only against those who have placed a wager on another player, not against the platform.
- IF the wager was placed after the tournament started, THEN it is refunded.
- IF no one else placed a wager on other players, THEN your wager is refunded.
- IF no one correctly picked the winner and no wagers were placed on the victor, THEN wagers are refunded to everyone.
To get started, you'll need:
- To connect your MetaMask wallet to the platform.
- To switch your network to the Mumbai Testnet.
- To have test MATIC and ZUSD tokens in your balance.
Place Your First Wager!
1. Navigate to the platform's Viewer Wagering section. For additional information, you can click "Show Tutorial" and read through it.
2. Scroll down to the section with tournaments available for wagering, select the one you wish to place a wager on, and click on it.
3. Review the tournament information.
4. Go to the Participants tab and choose a participant to wager on.
5. In the right tab, select the desired wager amount and click Place Wager. You can also enter the desired bet size.
6. Confirm all necessary actions in your MetaMask.
7. If successful, you will receive a notification.
Follow the tournament's progress, and if your wager wins - your prize will be automatically credited to you!
