How to Get Test Tokens in ZeroSum Â
ZeroSum is currently in the testnet phase, requiring users to obtain test tokens to use the platform's features. This guide will walk you through the steps of adding the Mumbai Testnet to MetaMask and acquiring MATIC for transaction fees and ZUSD for participating in tournaments, wagering, and opening challenges.
Adding Mumbai Testnet to MetaMask
You can do this automatically on the platform or manually. Let's consider both options:
Automatically
1. Go to the ZeroSum platform;
3. Click on the network switcher in the top right corner;
4. In the dropdown menu, select the Polygon Test Chain network;
5. In the MetaMask window, confirm the addition of the network;
6. Confirm the network switch by clicking the "Switch Network" button;
Manually
3. In the new tab, click "Add a Network Manually".
4. Will in the fields with the following details and click "Save":
- Network Name: Mumbai Testnet
- RPC URL: https://rpc-mumbai.maticvigil.com/
- Chain ID: 80001
- Currency Symbol: MATIC
5. Return to step 1 and select the newly added network by switching to it.
Test MATIC
- Navigate to the official Mumbai Testnet faucet: https://mumbaifaucet.com/.
- Enter your wallet address where you wish to receive MATIC and click "Send Matic".
Test ZUSD
- Go to the Test Tokens page on the ZeroSum platform: https://test.zerosum.world/mint
- Select Mumbai Testnet from the dropdown list and click on the "ZUSD" button.
3. Done! If successful, you should receive a notification confirming the transaction.
