Aura Network — Serenity Testnet. Guide.

Layer-1 NFT-centric blockchain, built to accelerate global NFTs adoption by the Internet of Blockchain.

STEP 1 — Add Network

Testnet supports 2 wallets: Coin98 Wallet and Keplr Wallet. Aura developers recommend using Coin98 Wallet to be eligible for Aura specific features in the future.

That’s why our testnet procedures will be done in Coin98. Setup the wallet. If you are Coin98 user, just skip this step.

Соin98 — Web Browser Extension HERE or the app HERE.
Keplr — Web Browser Extension HERE.

In case you create a new Coin98 wallet, take an option of Multichain wallet.

After that use the SCRIPT to add Aura Serenity Testnet network to the browser wallet extension (Kplr or Coin98). Simply use the link https://jsfiddle.net/eledra/kc6yhLpz/ — you will see an offer to add your wallet, so confirm it. Once done, the network will be added.

ATTENTION! The link above gives priority for Keplr extension to connect. You have to disable Keplr in your browser to get an option with Coin98 connection.

In case of success, serenity-testnet-001 will be added to your wallet.
Press a three-line shortcut in the upper left corner of the app, and toggle off all networks except serenity-testnet-001.

STEP 2 — Get the Tester Contributor role and tokens on Aurora Network Discord.

Find #pick-a-role branch and react with the corresponding emoji so to obtain the tester role.

Next — Open Coin98 extension and copy your serenity-testnet-001 wallet address.

Proceed to #serenity-faucet in AURA Network Discord and paste the phrase I love Aura (wallet). Tokens must arrive instantly and you’ll get 2 AURA for the Testnet.

Step 3 — Go to the website: https://serenity.aurascan.io/ and connect the wallet via the Connect Wallet button in the top right corner.

Step 4 — Delegation Testing

Go to the Validators tab. Below you will see the validators list. You may examine them by clicking their names before delegating. Once you are ready with your choice — press Delegate.

Input the amount of AURA to delegate and confirm.

You’ll get your delegation status above.

Step 5 — Undelegate and Redelegate

We can manage our delegations: add, undelegate or redelegate to another validator by the Manage button which is applied to every validator.

You’ll see a drop-down menu. Take the option Undelegate to cancel or Redelegate — to change your validator.

If you want to cancel delegation — put the amount to withdraw and confirm.

If you want to change redelegate — choose another validator, put the amount for redelegation, and confirm.

Dashboard, Blocks and Transactions tabs are used for tracking transactions and actions.

Step 6 — Claim the Reward

After the first delegation, you’ll be able to see your rewards for the claim in a separate field. Transfer can be done with the Claim Rewards button.

Govern the network if you are a staker. You can vote on Proposals with 4 options: Yes, No, NoWithVeto or Abstain (you can change the vote!)

That’s it. Halo testnet is an open and experimental system for validators only. Validators can play with Cosmos modules etc. We aren’t going to explore it right now.
