Peer Pressure - before vs after

Peer Pressure, defined by google as ' Influence of members of one's peer group ' but who will understand that nowadays the pressure on students is of a different level. In the present scenario, students are only studying for marks and grades not for knowledge. This is not their fault, and we should not be indicting them, we should indict the peer gap. Today every self is after money,

not after the right education, not after the right route or way. Every student understands that nowadays the value of money and the value of succession in life, also moreover everybody wants fame. No one wants to join their family business unlike before and the most striking thing is that now every student is aware of the technology furthermore devices which have its pros and cons but it as very favorable for today's world. So, at last, I only want to dispatch a message to everyone that peer pressure is not mentally good for students and let them do the things in which they are very immeasurable . I also being a student knows the pressure of studies, family, and all but it does not mean that it does not change the abilities of students, they can but they need some time to figure out things.

Advantages of peer pressure

Peer pressure is advantageous in many ways. Most importantly it creates a sense of motivation in the person. Which further forces the person to cross the barrier and achieve something great. Furthermore, it boosts the confidence of a person. Because our brain considers people’s opinions and makes them a priority..This peer pressure technique also works in creating a better character of a person. For instance, when we recommend someone for a particular job, the interviewer already gets a better image of that person. Because he is recommended by a person the interviewer trusts. Therefore there is a great chance of that person to get hire.

Disadvantages of peer pressure

There are various disadvantages of peer pressure which can harm a person in many ways. If any person is not willing to perform a task then the peer pressure can be frustrating to him. Furthermore, peer pressure should not be in an extravagant manner. Because it lands a negative impression on the person. A person should be of the mindset of monitoring to himself first. While considering opinions in favor of him. Peer pressure in youth from a bad throng can lead a person to a nasty situation. Besides, it can also impede a student’s profession and studies if not deflected. Youth these days are much influenced by the magnetic life of notoriety.

Motivation is essential for the growth of a person. While peer pressure for a bad cause will always lead you to a disastrous situation.
