RF Project 1165 Svarog is coming soon

RF Project 1165 Svarog is a Soviet nuclear-powered missile cruiser of Project 1165 Fugas, designed as a sword of naval superiority and a shield of layered air defense. It carried an arsenal ranging from powerful air defense systems and missile launchers to artillery systems, allowing it to feel confident in any battle. The ship is versatile and capable of fighting any type of enemy, whether in the air, on the water, or under it. The interchangeability of most systems allows for high versatility in combat, making this cruiser a true terror of the seas.

Armament:
1. P-700 Granit missile battery [2x1] 2. P-1000 Vulkan LK missile battery [2x1]🔒 3. AK-130 cannon (130 mm) [2x1] 4. RBU-12000 grenade launcher (300 mm) [3x1] 5. Ka-58 Black Ghost helicopter [1x1] 6. M-22 Uragan air defense system [2x1] 7. M-22 Uragan air defense system [2x1] 8. Kashtan-M air defense system (30 mm) [4x1] 9. S-300 Fort air defense system [2x1]🔒

New additions:
P-1000 Vulkan LK — a Soviet long-range anti-ship missile equipped with a laser guidance system. Designed to engage large surface targets at considerable distances, it combines high flight speed with impressive warhead power. Thanks to its manual guidance system, the missile can effectively overcome enemy missile defenses without the risk of being detected by heat traps and deliver high-precision strikes against enemy ships. Due to the large number of simultaneously launched units (8 missiles), the missile battery is capable of overwhelming virtually any air defense system, hitting the target with at least part of the salvo.

Characteristic features in battle

Pros:
1. Two bow guns allow you to fire at the enemy while remaining in cover and exposing the hull as little as possible.
2. Air defense systems are evenly distributed along the entire ship, eliminating vulnerable areas for air attacks.
3. The P-1000 Vulkan LK missile system can fire up to 8 missiles in a salvo. Combined with a double additional freely replaceable slot, this almost guarantees significant damage to the target.
Cons:
1. The elongated hull makes it difficult to use a number of shelters on the maps: part of the ship will still protrude, exposing it to enemy cannon and grenade launcher fire.
2. Compared to its peers, its lower durability limits the time it can engage in combat in open positions under heavy fire.

Gameplay

This cruiser performs best not on the front line, but in a support role, covering allies and working from a distance with its missile batteries. Its armament leaves room for experimentation: two guns and three grenade launchers allow you to move forward and make a daring breakthrough that can significantly change the balance of power in battle. Air threats are also not a problem—eight air defense points scattered throughout the hull, combined with S-300 Fort missile silos, allow it to face small air raids without much concern and confidently survive even dense missile salvos, destroying a significant portion of them before they reach the hull.

Maneuverability should not be overlooked either: for its class, the ship has decent speed, which also makes it effective in flanking attacks. A skillful maneuver can catch the enemy off guard—an opponent engrossed in combat in the center is unlikely to expect a painful blow from the side or rear when cannons, grenade launchers, and missiles are all fired simultaneously. Such tactics often prove to be much more effective than direct pressure, destroying the enemy's formation and creating favorable conditions for allies to break through enemy defenses.

The RF Project 1165 Svarog can be considered a universal soldier: it is equally capable of providing fire support from a safe distance and, if necessary, engaging in aggressive close combat, thus becoming the element of surprise that will help your team achieve victory.
