Winzavod (Winery) is located next to Kurskiy railway station and Sadovoe Kolt’so (Garden Ring). This location is quite close to the city center. Three Metro (Underground) lines are intersecting near Vinzavod: light green (“Tchackalovskaya” station), circle and blue lines (“Kurskaya” stations both).

History of Winzavod, the oldest Moscow winery, originates from early 19th century. In the end of 20th century winery has ceased its operations. In 2007 location was transformed into Modern Arts center.

Vinzavod is not occupying large territory and still there is a lot to see.

Vinzavod is organizing most interesting and diverse exhibitions, where any one can find something attractive. Former winery cellar exhibition is the most famous and popular among visitors. Regular opening days for cellar visit are from August 24 till December 31.

You entrance ticket guides you to pure pieces of art at main shows and grants free access to satellite shows.


Attend lecture or participate in discussion panel

It is always exciting to speak to cultured audience that cultivates similar interests! Winzavod arranges this possibility by holding regular lectures and discussion for everyone.

Lectures and panels are free of charge. Topics of current interest require pre-booking.


To see “most of it”

Aside from main exhibitions of Winzavod you can visit various seminars, festivals, cinema and theater shows, and walkthrough minor galleries (11 of them!)


Enjoy amazing graffiti!

Inner side of Winzavod yard walls is almost fully covered by graffiti pieces of art. Drawings are renewed quite often. You will see new images each time you visit Winzavod unless you are “everyday” visitor.

"Kisses". Project “Wall” is open discussion club focused on intra- and extravert aspects of graffiti culture. Every new drawing is a discussion. The discussion about street art!

Walkthrough fascinating shops and show rooms

Six shops dedicated to jewelry and handcrafted stuff are located at Winzavod. You can buy various arts and clothes there.


Food and drinks (maybe tea)

Is there anything better then a cup of tea after long walk through the exhibition? Nothing! You can have a cup of tea next to your show hall being full of memories! Winzavod always welcomes exhausted and excited visitors in its cafeterias.

Routes:

Fastest and easiest is underground. There are 3 underground stations next to Winzavod – Tchackalovskaya, Kurskaya at circle line and Kurskaya at blue line. You will to walk 10-15 from the all of three stations until you reach Winzavod. Follow the street markers for your convenience.


Fees:

Entrance to the territory is free of charge. Minor shows are also free of charge. Headliner fees are ranging in between 500 to 1000 Russian rubles. Please check official site for the details.
