Update 1.71

Agents, today we invite you to review the preliminary list of changes in Update 1.71!

IMPORTANT: The list of new features is preliminary and subject to change or addition prior to the official release of the update.

General changes:

We continue to work on improving the anti-cheat system. Thanks to player reports to customer support, we have identified and fixed several issues that allowed game rules to be violated. Thank you for helping make Modern Strike Online better!

Content changes:

• The game now features two Battle Passes: the Seasonal Battle Pass and the Supreme Battle Pass.
  The Seasonal Battle Pass is available at the start of each season.
  The Supreme Battle Pass is a special pass that contains legendary rewards and numerous resources. You can purchase the Supreme BP after completing all the stages of the Seasonal Battle Pass and progressing to the additional gold-giving stages. Once purchased, the Supreme Battle Pass is permanent and will not expire with the season. You can switch between the Seasonal and Supreme BP's at any time, and your experience points will be applied to the pass you choose. This season, we are introducing the MSO Classics Supreme Battle Pass. More about Supreme BP at the link.

• We have transformed the "Oasis" map into an icy amusement park!

• We have updated the Lost Temple map to make it brighter and more attractive. Animated animals have been added to make this map even more scenic to play on. See the link for more information.
  And don’t forget to look for Easter eggs on the map for contests 😉

• We continue to work on optimizing maps to make battles more thrilling.
• At the request of players, we have sped up item upgrade animations. This will help you enhance your weapons faster and get back into the fight.

New Season 40: Northern Wind

• We have reworked the contents of the Seasonal Battle Pass! Rewards have been increased, and armor has been added. Obtain the latest Arctic Beast assault rifle, the Northern Hunter character, and other valuable rewards!

• A new seasonal calendar! Log into the game every day to claim free VIP, gold, keys, lottery currency, and other gifts!
• A new lottery, "Ice Guardian," is now available! You can win the Glacial Rift pistol, parts of the new Snow Shaman armor set, and other valuable prizes!

• This season, the Smuggling cases will include gloves from the Snow Shaman armor set. Don't miss your chance to complete the full set!

Weapons, Armor, and Characters

• The Arctic Beast assault rifle deals increased damage but has high recoil. It also provides enhanced damage to combat skills.

• The Glacial Rift pistol fires in three-round bursts and deals increased damage on headshots.

• The Frost Forge shotgun increases the accumulation of "Extra Armor" combat skill points by 80%. If you use a different combat skill, the point gain increases by 20%.

• The Winter Executioner sniper rifle increases damage by 50% after 8 kills, with the effect lasting until your death. Additionally, headshot kills reduce reload time by 50% for 10 seconds.

• The rugged and taciturn Northern Hunter is ready to be your reliable guide through even the harshest snowstorms! This skin is available in the Battle Pass.

• The classic TKB-059 assault rifle is available from smugglers' cases. Its stats have been updated to make it relevant to the current meta.

The update will also include increased weapon damage for the following:

• HK USP;
• Colt 9mm SMG;
• Scar H;
• HK MG4;
• MP-133;
• Scout;
• Kerambit

Armor stats have been increased for the following items:

• Spy goggles;
• Basic Armor;
• Light Boots;
• Light Gloves;
• S.W.A.T. helmet;
• Snow leopard armor set.
• Two new camouflages have been added for the Ruger AR 556.

• The Kevlar Armor's characteristics have been updated; it now provides resistance to machine guns. Meanwhile, the Snow Leopard Armor reduces damage from shotguns.
• New camouflages and Kevlar Armor are available in the Supreme Battle Pass "MSO Classics."
• New weapons that we plan to add to the game will now have three upgrade parameters instead of five, as was the case before. This will allow you to upgrade weapons faster and make them even stronger.
  Weapons released before version 1.71 will retain their original number of upgrade parameters.
  Previously, gadgets significantly enhanced weapons by providing numerous additional parameters. In this update, we have adjusted their characteristics, reducing the impact of some parameters.
  These changes are aimed at balancing and improving gameplay. However, we are not stopping there. We have already added unique properties to gadgets that can be equipped on Samurai Rage.
  In the future, most gadgets will gain unique properties that will add special effects to weapons, unlocking new possibilities for tactics and strategy.
